Samsung Galaxy A04 Budget Smartphone Now Available in Nepal

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A04 as its latest budget-friendly smartphone in the Nepali market. First launched in November 2022, this device has quickly become the best-selling option in its segment, thanks to its balance of features and affordability.

Design and Display

The Galaxy A04 carries over much of the design language from its predecessor, the Galaxy A03, including the Infinity-V notch on the front. The rear cameras sit flush with the back panel, and the phone is offered in four color choices: Green, Red, White, and Black, although the White variant is not currently available in Nepal. The display is a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, which remains unchanged from previous models and provides decent viewing for its price point.

Performance and Camera

Under the hood, the Galaxy A04 is powered by an octa-core processor, speculated to be the MediaTek Helio P35, paired with Android 13 and One UI Core 4.1. It comes in three RAM configurations: 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB, matched with storage options of 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB. The device also supports up to 1TB of additional storage through an SD card. On the photography front, the rear setup includes a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front features a 5MP selfie shooter, similar to the Galaxy A03.

Battery and Connectivity

The Galaxy A04 is equipped with a sizable 5000mAh battery, supporting 15W adaptive charging. It also includes standard connectivity features such as 4G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0, along with both 800MHz and 1800MHz bands for reliable 4G coverage across Nepal.

Price and Availability

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy A04 is available in Nepal for NPR 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, down from the original price of NPR 16,999.
