Samsung Galaxy A06 Launches in Nepal with Helio G85 Processor

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A06 in Nepal, positioning it as an affordable upgrade to the Galaxy A05. The A06 retains Samsung’s signature design language for budget devices, featuring an all-plastic body with a U-shaped notch display and a noticeable chin at the bottom. The camera module design remains consistent, with the LED flash placed on the side.

The display measures 6.7 inches and uses a PLS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, built on a 12nm process, which includes two Cortex-A75 cores at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, along with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for graphics. Memory configurations include options for 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with expandable storage supported.

Running on Android 14 with Samsung’s OneUI Core interface, the A06 comes with a promise of two years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The camera setup consists of a 50MP primary lens paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP camera sits inside a teardrop notch for selfies and video calls. A sizable 5000mAh battery fuels the phone, paired with 25W fast charging support. Connectivity options encompass 4G, VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 is priced in Nepal starting at NPR 15,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs NPR 17,499, while the top-tier 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is available for NPR 19,499. The device can be purchased from authorized retail stores, and buyers will receive a 25W charging adapter free of charge.
