Samsung has adjusted the price of the Galaxy A73 5G in Nepal, implementing a NPR 3,000 increase only two months after the device first went on sale. The updated pricing now stands at NPR 75,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Design and Screen

The Galaxy A73 retains a familiar design language seen in its predecessor, the A72, featuring a sizable 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel that boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for improved scrolling and animation performance.

Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the A73 utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, marking a notable upgrade over previous models. It is offered in two memory configurations: a base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and a higher-end variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Camera Setup

Photography capabilities have been enhanced with a primary 108MP sensor that includes optical image stabilization, alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens and two additional 5MP sensors for depth and macro shots. Notably, the device does not include a telephoto lens despite earlier rumors.

Battery and Software

Powering the device is a robust 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, although Samsung will not include a charger in the box. The phone runs on Android 12 with Samsung’s One UI 4 interface and is guaranteed to receive four major Android updates. Additional features include IP67 dust and water resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a one-year breakage insurance plan provided by Samsung Nepal.
