Samsung Debuts Galaxy F17 With 90Hz AMOLED and Exynos 1330 Processor

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F17 in India, a model that draws heavily from the design and specifications of its A17 counterpart but introduces a few notable changes. The F17 sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It comes in two color options: Violet Pop and Neo Black.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the chipset delivers decent everyday performance, it struggles with heavy gaming tasks, managing around 30fps in titles like PUBG Mobile. The phone runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7.0, promising six years of software updates.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Despite the modest specs, the phone manages to produce crisp and vibrant photos in daylight conditions. Battery life is handled by a 5,000mAh cell, supported by 25W wired charging, which takes approximately one and a half hours to reach a full charge. It is worth noting that the phone does not support chargers from other brands, so users should carry its dedicated charger at all times.

In India, the Galaxy F17 is priced at INR 14,499 for the 4GB RAM variant and INR 15,999 for the 6GB model. Adjusted for Nepal, buyers can expect prices to start from NPR 17,400 and go up to NPR 19,200, depending on the configuration.
