Samsung Introduces Galaxy M07 With Helio G99 Processor and Large Battery

Samsung has announced the Galaxy M07, a new addition to its budget smartphone lineup. The device brings notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Galaxy M06, and is designed to appeal to cost-conscious users. With a sleek design measuring just 7.6mm in thickness and weighing 184g, the phone sports a glass fiber reinforced back panel for added durability. It is available exclusively in black and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

The display remains consistent with the previous model, featuring a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The U-shaped notch at the top houses the front camera, a design choice that feels dated for a 2025 release. Under the hood, the Galaxy M07 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 4G chipset, built on a 6nm process. This processor includes two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded via microSD up to 2TB.

A standout feature is the 5000 mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging, though notably, Samsung does not include a charger in the box. The phone runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 on top, and the manufacturer has committed to providing six years of both OS and security updates, mirroring the support seen in the premium Galaxy A series.

Camera capabilities include a 50MP primary rear camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera is an 8MP shooter positioned within a teardrop notch. Connectivity options encompass Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a single speaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also supports 4G LTE, GPS, and various satellite navigation systems.

In India, the Galaxy M07 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at INR 6,999. When it becomes available in Nepal, the expected price is around NPR 14,999, making it a compelling option in the budget segment.
