Samsung Nepal has announced an attractive price reduction for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, lowering the cost by NPR 50,000 across all variants. This adjustment makes the high-end foldable more appealing to Nepali consumers without compromising its premium features.

Design and Display Enhancements

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 presents refined changes over its predecessor. The device adopts a slightly more boxy profile, measuring just 1.5mm thinner and 2.9mm wider when folded. This adjustment contributes to improved durability and better protection against dust and debris, earning an IP48 rating, up from the IPX8 of the earlier model. The phone also becomes lighter, weighing in at just 239 grams, comparable to standard flagship smartphones.

Display upgrades include a larger outer screen at 6.3 inches with a 22.1:9 aspect ratio and a expansive 7.6-inch inner Infinity Flex display featuring a 20.9:18 ratio. Both panels support adaptive refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. Only the outer display features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection, while the inner display utilizes Samsung’s advanced under-display camera technology.

Performance and Software

Powering the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, specifically optimized for Samsung Galaxy devices. Users can select from three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, or a massive 1TB, all paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The device runs Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1, tailored for the foldable form factor.

A key highlight is the integration of Galaxy AI, enabling innovative features such as Circle to Search and Note Assist.
