Soundcore Launches Compact Nebula P1 Portable Projector with Detachable Speakers

Soundcore has unveiled the Nebula P1, a compact portable projector designed for ease of transport and versatile use. The device weighs only 5.3 pounds, making it far more manageable than larger models like the 72-pound Nebula X1 Pro. Despite its small size, the P1 can project 1080p resolution images up to 180 inches when placed approximately 4.8 meters from the screen. However, optimal viewing requires a dimly lit environment, as the projector offers a moderate brightness level of 650 ANSI Lumens.

The Nebula P1 includes several user-friendly features, such as automatic focus adjustment and automatic keystone correction to minimize image distortion. A built-in gimbal allows the projector to tilt up to 130 degrees, simplifying setup on various surfaces like shelves or tables. One of the standout aspects of the P1 is its pair of detachable 10W speakers, which connect via Bluetooth and provide robust stereo audio. These speakers boast an impressive 20-hour battery life on a single charge and are rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, surpassing the IP33 rating of the projector itself. While the speakers can operate independently, the projector must remain plugged in during use, and charging the detached speakers occurs magnetically through a docking station on the projector, taking around 3 hours for a full recharge.

Under the hood, the Nebula P1 runs on Google TV, offering a smooth interface with Netflix pre-installed. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, along with a suite of connectivity options including HDMI 2.1, USB-C, USB-A, and support for wireless casting via Google Cast. This makes it easy to connect various devices and stream content seamlessly.

If launched in Nepal, the Soundcore Nebula P1 is anticipated to carry a price tag of approximately NPR 129,999, aligning with its official US pricing of USD 799, currently available at a promotional discount of USD 719.
