Tecno Spark 20C Debuts in Nepal With 50MP Camera and 90Hz Display

Tecno has officially launched the Spark 20C in Nepal, marking the latest addition to its budget smartphone lineup. The device brings together a solid set of features aimed at everyday users, including a vibrant display, capable photography, and a long-lasting battery.

The Spark 20C sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a density of 265 PPI, wrapped in an HD+ resolution. The display includes a punch-hole cutout and a unique “Dynamic Port” interface that streamlines notifications and offers a traditional mode for users who prefer a simpler layout. It is available in Gravity Black, Mystery White, Alpenglow Gold, and a special Magic Skin variant with a leather-like finish.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, built on a 12nm process and featuring an octa-core CPU paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with two memory options: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage (expandable to 8GB) and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage (expandable to 16GB), providing flexibility for users depending on their needs.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Spark 20C’s 50MP primary rear camera, accompanied by a 0.3MP depth sensor. The front camera is an 8MP shooter, suitable for selfies and video calls. The device is backed by a sizable 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, ensuring extended use between charges.

Despite not supporting 5G, the Spark 20C remains well-connected with dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the phone runs on Android 13 with Tecno’s HiOS 13.x interface.

The Tecno Spark 20C is now available in Nepal for NPR 15,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. It can be found at authorized retail outlets across the country.
