Tecno has expanded its smartphone portfolio in Nepal with the launch of the Spark 30C, a device built around the recently introduced MediaTek Helio G81 processor. The phone arrives with a range of features aimed at budget-conscious users while offering solid performance for everyday tasks.

The Spark 30C sports a conventional design with a large central camera island and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It comes in three distinct color options: Orbit Black with a monotone finish, Orbit White featuring a subtle gradient, and the standout Magic Skin 3.0, which boasts a vegan leather back panel.

At the heart of the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, manufactured on a 12nm process and featuring eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. Though not yet listed on MediaTek's official website, the processor is confirmed to power the Spark 30C, marking it as the first phone to utilize the standard version of this chip, rather than the G81 Ultra found in other models. The smartphone offers three RAM options: 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB, paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, totaling four distinct configurations. While the system can virtually double the available RAM, there is no support for additional storage expansion. The device runs on Android 14 out of the box.

The display measures 6.67 inches and carries an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, likely utilizing an LCD panel for cost-effectiveness. It impresses with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and supports touch input even when the screen is wet or oily. On the photography front, the rear camera setup includes a single 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a dummy lens for a dual-camera appearance, while the front features an 8MP shooter positioned in a centered hole-punch cutout.

Powering the Spark 30C is a robust 5,000mAh battery, supported by 18W wired fast charging. The phone also includes a stereo speaker setup tuned by DTS, promising up to 300 percent louder audio, along with a handy IR blaster for controlling home appliances.

In terms of security, the device offers both a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock functionality. Connectivity options encompass 4G cellular networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and the aforementioned IR blaster.

The Tecno Spark 30C is now available in Nepal through Dizikart. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at NPR 16,490, while the top-tier 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model retails for NPR 19,990.
