Vivo has officially introduced the V27 in the Nepali market, two months after its global debut, alongside the V27e model. This mid-range smartphone brings together an elegant design, advanced display technology, and solid performance for users seeking both style and functionality.

Design and Display

True to Vivo’s reputation for design-focused devices, the V27 features a premium glass sandwich build and a slim 7.4mm profile. It comes in Magic Blue and Emerald Green, both offering color-changing back panels. The Nepali market, however, will see Magic Blue and Noble Black options only. The rear showcases a rectangular camera module with an innovative ring light LED flash. On the front, the phone sports a generous 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and support for 10-bit color depth, delivering vivid and vibrant visuals.

Camera Capabilities

The V27 carries a triple-camera setup, similar to its Pro version, led by a 50MP Sony IMX766V main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This 1/1.56-inch sensor is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro unit. The device’s “Aura Light” ring flash enhances low-light photography with ambient light detection for improved portraits. It also includes Night Video mode and a combination of OIS and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for steady footage. For selfies, the V27 offers a 50MP AI-enabled camera with autofocus, promising high-definition portraits.

Performance and Memory

Powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G chipset built on a 4nm process, the V27 includes two high-performance Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores at 2.0 GHz. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with an additional virtual RAM expansion option of up to 8GB. The phone runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, offering a smooth and feature-rich user experience.

The device is fueled by a substantial 4600mAh non-removable battery, supporting rapid 66W fast charging. It offers comprehensive connectivity options, including 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. Security features include an optical under-display fingerprint scanner and a 2D face recognition system.

During the Dashain festival, the Vivo V27 is available in Nepal for NPR 56,999 for the 8/256GB variant, down from the regular price of NPR 58,999. The phone is now available at authorized retail outlets across the country.
