Vivo Unveils V60e with 200MP Camera and 6500mAh Battery in India

Vivo has launched the V60e in India, adding another compelling option to its popular mid-range V series lineup. The V60e carries forward many design and feature elements from recent Vivo releases while introducing some notable specifications.

The phone features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and curved edges, though it offers 1,600 nits of peak brightness, which is lower than the 3,000 nits found on the V60 Lite 5G. It weighs in at a manageable 190 grams and is just 7.48mm thin, with a plastic back and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Vivo’s “Diamond Shield Glass” protects the front.

Under the hood, the V60e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chip, launched in September, which is essentially an updated Dimensity 7300 with Adaptive Gaming Technology 3.0, a software-based enhancement. The processor uses a 4nm process and includes four 2.5GHz CPU cores and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, running on Android 15 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15 interface. Vivo promises three major OS updates and five years of security updates.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 200MP main camera, though the exact sensor remains unspecified. It includes optical image stabilization, an f/1.8 aperture, and supports 30x SuperZoom. Additional camera hardware includes an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 50MP front camera for selfies. The device also features an LED “Aura Light” ring on the back.

The V60e carries a substantial 6500mAh battery, paired with 90W wired fast charging, a feature shared with the V60 Lite 5G. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB-C, and 5G.

Currently, the V60e has been announced only for India, with no official word yet on a Nepal launch. Given that the V60 Lite 5G is already planned for Nepal, the V60e may not arrive here soon. However, should it eventually launch, early pricing estimates suggest a starting point of NPR 47,999 for the base model.
