Vivo has launched the V70 Elite, the first Elite variant in its well-received V Series, known for combining premium design with advanced camera capabilities at competitive prices. The V70 Elite shifts from the traditional vertical camera module seen in earlier V Series models, adopting a square camera layout similar to Oppo devices. It features a durable aluminum frame and offers both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor built on a 4nm process, which includes a high-performance Cortex-X4 core running at 3.0GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.8GHz, and three energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores at 2.0GHz. It will be available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, running on Android 16 with Vivo's OriginOS 6 interface.
In the camera department, the V70 Elite sports a triple rear setup: a 50MP main camera with ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front camera is a 50MP unit with autofocus, also featuring ZEISS optics.
A sizable 6500mAh battery fuels the device, supporting 90W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port.
The display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2392 pixels), a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and impressive peak brightness of 5000 nits. Security is handled by an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
In India, the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at INR 51,999. In Nepal, the expected starting price for the V70 Elite is NPR 85,999, with higher configurations reaching up to NPR 99,999.
