Vivo X500 and X500 Pro Rumored to Feature Bigger Batteries, New Chipsets, and Enhanced Cameras

Vivo is gearing up to introduce its next-generation flagship X500 series later this year, with early leaks hinting at major upgrades across the board. The initial lineup is rumored to consist of the Vivo X500e, Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max, with the X500s and X500 Ultra potentially arriving in the first half of 2027. For now, focus remains on the Vivo X500 and X500 Pro, which are expected to bring notable enhancements in design, performance, camera capabilities, and battery life.

Design and Display The Vivo X500 series is said to continue Vivo's premium design language. The standard X500 is rumored to feature a compact 6.37-inch flat OLED display, while the X500 Pro could adopt a larger 6.85-inch flat panel. Both displays are anticipated to utilize LIPO packaging technology to maintain ultra-slim symmetrical bezels. Additionally, these phones may include large rounded corners and support a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz for smoother scrolling.

Performance and Software Under the hood, the Vivo X500 is speculated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, promising improved performance and efficiency. The X500 Pro, on the other hand, might debut with the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9600 series processor. Both devices are expected to launch with Android 17-based OriginOS.

Upgraded Camera Module Photography is a key focus for Vivo in the X500 series. The standard X500 is rumored to feature a 50MP main camera alongside a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.
