Vivo Introduces Y17s With New 4GB/128GB Storage Option in Nepal

Vivo has introduced a new storage configuration for its Y17s smartphone in the Nepali market. The device now comes in both 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage options. The 4GB variant is priced at Rs. 14,999 while the 6GB model retails for Rs. 16,999, making the phone accessible to a wider range of budget-focused buyers.

The Y17s sports a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 269 ppi density, providing smooth scrolling and decent visuals for everyday use. Under the hood it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with either 6GB of physical RAM or an additional 6GB of virtual RAM expansion, along with 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The device runs Android 13 with Vivo's Funtouch OS 13 interface.

For photography the Y17s includes a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth camera, along with an 8MP front camera situated in a waterdrop notch. Despite the absence of a front flash the phone incorporates an Aura Screen Light feature to improve low-light selfies.
