Vivo Y22 Launches in Nepal With Helio G85 and 5000mAh Battery

Vivo has introduced the Y22 in Nepal, positioning it as an affordable option for users seeking decent performance and a sizable battery in a single package. The device sports a 6.55-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio, delivering clear and expansive viewing for everyday tasks. Underneath, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, an octa-core chip that combines two Cortex-A75 cores at 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, paired with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for graphics handling.

The Y22 offers up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with the storage capacity being expandable through a microSD card up to 1TB. It runs on Android 11, customized with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 12. For photography, the phone includes a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP camera sits within a waterdrop notch on the front for selfies.

A robust 5000mAh battery fuels the device, supporting 18W wired charging, and security is enhanced with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with 2D face recognition. The Y22 is offered in two color finishes: Starlit Blue and Metaverse Green, and weighs in at around 190 grams with a thickness of 8.38mm, striking a balance between bulk and manageability.

Currently, the Vivo Y22 is priced at NPR 20,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model and can be purchased from Dizikart and other Vivo-authorized stores across Nepal.
