Vivo Y28 4G Now Available in Nepal

Vivo has introduced the Y28 4G in the Nepali market, targeting budget-conscious buyers with its combination of decent performance and long battery life. The phone features the Mediatek Helio G85 processor, a smooth 90Hz LCD display, and a massive 6000mAh battery, making it a strong contender in the entry-level segment.

Design and Display

The Vivo Y28 4G sports a modern flat frame design, measuring 8.09mm in thickness, and is offered in two color options: Gleaming Orange and Agate Green. It has a reflective back panel with a square camera module and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The display is a 6.68-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, 720 x 1612 pixel resolution, and 1000 nits of high brightness for visibility in bright sunlight.

Camera Setup

On the photography front, the device sports a dual-camera system led by a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it features an 8MP front camera.

Performance and Storage

Powered by the Mediatek Helio G85 SoC built on a 12nm process, the phone includes two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, running on Android 14 with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 14 interface.

For the Dashain festival season, the Vivo Y28 4G is priced at NPR 23,999 for the 6/128GB variant and NPR 26,499 for the 8/256GB model. The smartphone is now available at authorized retail stores across Nepal.
