India’s smartphone market gains another competitor with the debut of the Wobble One, a new device from emerging brand Wobble, backed by Indkal Technologies. Previously focused on wireless earbuds and an earlier Acer laptop line, the company now steps into smartphones with a model that blends solid mid-range components into an appealing package.

The Wobble One sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, offering vibrant colors and crisp visuals. It is offered in three distinct color options: Mythic White, Eclipse Black, and Odyssey Blue. Security features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, while audio enthusiasts will appreciate the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack and Dolby Atmos support.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a reliable mid-range chip already found in several other current models. This enables decent gaming performance on medium settings and efficient everyday use. Users can select between two storage configurations: 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage, or 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage.

Photography enthusiasts will find much to like in the Wobble One’s camera system. The rear setup includes a robust 50MP main sensor (Sony LYT-600) equipped with optical image stabilization, alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera also boasts a sizable 50MP sensor, ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls.

Battery life is handled by a 5,000mAh cell, a capacity that was more common two years ago. The absence of information regarding charging speeds leaves questions for potential buyers, especially when comparable mid-range devices often offer faster charging capabilities. The device supports dual SIM configurations for added flexibility.

Priced at INR 22,000 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, the Wobble One will go on sale in India starting December 12 through Amazon India. The higher-end 12GB + 256GB model’s pricing has yet to be disclosed. At this time, there is no official word on a Nepal launch, though if it does arrive, expectations suggest a starting price near NPR 42,000 for the entry configuration.
