Xiaomi 12 Now Available in Nepal at Updated Pricing

The Xiaomi 12, positioned between the 12X and 12 Pro in Xiaomi’s flagship series, has received a price revision in Nepal as part of the company’s Dashain campaign. The device now carries an official price of NPR 84,999 for the single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage configuration and is available through authorized Xiaomi retailers.

The Xiaomi 12 features a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with curved edges, offering FHD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, and an impressive 1100 nits peak brightness, earning it an A+ rating from DisplayMate. The phone’s design combines an AG glass back with metal side frames and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the front. It comes in three standard color options along with a special edition featuring Wild Green Leather.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chipset, paired with three memory options: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB, all using LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs Android 12 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 interface and includes a large 2600 square millimeter vapor chamber for effective thermal management.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Xiaomi 12’s triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with 2.0µm pixel size, 4-in-1 pixel binning, and Optical Image Stabilization. This is joined by a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP tele-macro camera.
