Xiaomi 12X Now Available in Nepal at Updated Price

Xiaomi has adjusted the price of its Xiaomi 12X in Nepal, dropping it from NPR 76,999 to NPR 71,999 for the sole 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. The device can be found at authorized Xiaomi retailers nationwide.

The Xiaomi 12X shares most of its core features with the full-specification Xiaomi 12 but swaps the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor for the powerful Snapdragon 870. This change allows Xiaomi to offer the phone at a more attractive price point without sacrificing performance. The Snapdragon 870 is essentially an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 865/865+, featuring a prime core clocked at 3.2GHz and an Adreno 650 GPU running at 670MHz.

Beyond the processor, the Xiaomi 12X matches the Xiaomi 12 in design and specifications. It presents a sleek glass-backed body in three color choices: Black, Purple, and Blue, though it does not offer a PU leather finish like some other models. The display is a striking 6.28-inch curved AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 1100 nits. Protection comes from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Photography capabilities are handled by a triple rear camera system led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization, joined by a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP telemacro camera. A 32MP selfie sensor sits within a punch-hole cutout on the front display. Powering the device is a robust 4500mAh battery, supporting rapid 67W wired charging, although wireless charging remains unsupported.

Additional features include Android 12 operating system paired with Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 interface, stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and a comprehensive suite of sensors and connectivity options such as WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and 5G support.
