Xiaomi Pad 6 Launches in Nepal With Competitive Pricing

Xiaomi has officially introduced the Pad 6 tablet in Nepal, bringing notable upgrades over its predecessor while maintaining an aggressive price point. The device arrives with a range of accessories, including a detachable keyboard and the second-generation Smart Pen, and is priced lower than the earlier Pad 5 model.

The Pad 6 boasts a significant performance boost, powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor, a considerable step up from the Snapdragon 860 in the Pad 5. This chip ensures smooth operation for everyday tasks and light gaming. Users can select from two storage configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The tablet runs MIUI Pad 14, built on Android 13, offering a tailored user experience.

In terms of design, the Pad 6 features an aluminum unibody with squared edges and is available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options. Despite its slim profile at just 6.51mm thick, the tablet weighs 490 grams. The 11-inch IPS LCD display retains the same size as the Pad 5 but receives enhancements, including a 144Hz refresh rate, 2.8K resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and support for Dolby Vision.

Camera capabilities include a 13MP rear camera capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second, along with an 8MP front camera that records up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. The tablet is supported by an 8840mAh battery with 33W fast charging and features a USB Type-C 3.0 port for charging and data transfer. Connectivity options encompass dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, while audio is managed by a quad-stereo speaker setup.

Accessories for the Pad 6 include a detachable keyboard priced at NPR 8,499 and the Smart Pen 2nd Generation, priced at NPR 9,999. Both accessories aim to improve productivity and user interaction with the tablet.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 is now available in Nepal through authorized Xiaomi retailers. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at NPR 39,999, while the higher-end configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs NPR 43,999.
