Xiaomi has introduced a new self-install smart lock designed for straightforward, do-it-yourself setup. Unlike conventional smart locks that often require drilling or professional installation, this lock simply fits over existing door keys or knobs, allowing users to enhance home security without permanent changes to their doors.

The lock provides several unlocking methods to suit different needs. Users can unlock via fingerprint recognition, set permanent or temporary passwords for family members and guests, or control the lock remotely through a smartphone app using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections.
