Zepp Z Premium Smartwatch Now Available at a Reduced Price in Nepal

The Zepp Z, a premium offering from Zepp Health (Huami Corp), has recently undergone a notable price adjustment in the Nepalese market, now retailing at NPR 43,000, reduced from its initial launch price of NPR 48,000.

Boasting a sleek circular design crafted from NTC-coated titanium alloy, complemented by a leather strap, the Zepp Z presents a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 326 PPI resolution and a peak brightness of 550 nits. Navigation is facilitated by two physical buttons and a crown, allowing users to effortlessly browse through the interface and access health-focused shortcuts.

At its core, the Zepp Z incorporates the BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor, enabling around-the-clock heart rate monitoring, SpO2 level tracking, sleep cycle analysis including REM phases, and stress level assessment. The device also introduces Zepp’s proprietary PAI health scoring system, which consolidates various health indicators into a single, easily interpretable score.

For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch supports an impressive array of 90 workout modes, encompassing everything from running to skiing and climbing, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5ATM), making it suitable for swimming activities. During exercise, the Zepp Z offers real-time heart rate monitoring and alerts when users enter different heart rate zones. It employs a dual-positioning system using GPS and GLONASS for precise tracking of workout sessions.

Smart functionalities include built-in Alexa support, usable for weather updates, smart device control, and setting alarms, though a smartphone remains necessary for most features. Nevertheless, over 58 voice commands can be executed directly on the watch independent of a smartphone.

Powering the Zepp Z is a robust 340 mAh battery, delivering up to 15 days of usage on a single charge, extendable to 30 days in Basic Watch Mode. A full recharge takes approximately 2.5 hours via magnetic wireless charging.
