ZTE Blade S6 Arrives in Nepal as an Affordable Mid-Range Option

Evolution Enterprises, the official distributor for ZTE mobile devices in Nepal, has introduced the ZTE Blade S6, a mid-range smartphone that originally launched internationally in 2015. Although a year old, the device continues to offer compelling features at an attractive price tag of NPR 15,990, making it a strong contender in today’s market.

The ZTE Blade S6 bears a design reminiscent of the iPhone 6, adopting several elements of Apple’s aesthetic style. It features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720p and a sharp pixel density of 294 ppi. Powering the device is last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, built on a 64-bit architecture with an Octacore CPU configuration, paired with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. This setup allows users to handle everyday tasks smoothly, run high-end games at moderate settings, and switch between multiple applications without significant lag.

A notable advantage of the Blade S6 is its decent 2400mAh battery, which should provide a full day of typical use based on its specifications. ZTE’s custom interface, MiFavor 3.0, runs on top of Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, though no future software updates are expected, given the device’s age.

In terms of storage, the phone includes 16GB of internal memory, expandable to 64GB through a dedicated micro SD card slot. The camera setup consists of a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, capable of recording videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second, along with a 5MP front-facing camera featuring an f/2.7 aperture.
