The Anker Soundcore Icon Mini has entered the Nepali market as the most budget-friendly option in the Soundcore Bluetooth speaker range. In this review, we put the tiny speaker through its paces to see how it performs in everyday use.

Design

The Icon Mini features a compact, square design with rounded edges and a grill on the front face. At just 3.7 x 2.9 x 1.4 inches and weighing 215 grams, it easily fits into a pocket or bag. The speaker is IP67 rated, meaning it can survive dust and brief water immersion, making it a solid choice for outdoor adventures. A sturdy cord on the top right allows users to hang the speaker from a tree branch or similar surface. While the overall build feels solid, the placement of the LED indicator light beneath the grill seems awkward and could be improved.

Connectivity

Connection options include Bluetooth 4.2 with a 30-meter range and a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack for wired use. The Bluetooth pairing process is straightforward: power on the speaker, press the Bluetooth button, and connect from your phone.
