After updating to the latest watchOS, which introduced ECG functionality for the Apple Watch Series 4, the user tested the feature and received an alert indicating abnormal heart activity. Despite repeating the test multiple times and getting the same result, he initially thought it might be an error. To verify, he tested his wife's heart rhythm, which showed normal results.

Following the watch's warning, Edentel consulted a doctor who confirmed the atrial fibrillation diagnosis. The physician remarked that the timely detection likely saved the user's life, commenting, "You should buy Apple stock. This probably saved you."
