FiiO Unveils M11 Plus LTD Digital Music Player for Audiophiles

FiiO has officially announced the M11 Plus LTD digital music player, a significant upgrade to last year's acclaimed M11 Pro. This new model introduces several enhancements that cater specifically to audiophiles and music enthusiasts.

The M11 Plus LTD sports a sleek bezel-less 5.5-inch screen that incorporates advanced sliding touch volume controls. Users can adjust the volume using either physical buttons or by sliding their fingers across the touch panel, marking the first time such a feature has appeared in a Hi-Res digital audio player. The device follows FiiO's sixth generation honeycomb design philosophy and is offered in two body options: aluminum alloy and stainless steel. The aluminum variant weighs approximately 310 grams, while the stainless steel model tips the scales at 405 grams.

Under the hood, the player is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor, representing a notable improvement over the Exynos 7872 found in the M11 Pro. This upgrade promises a more responsive and smoother user experience. The device runs on Android 10 and comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB.

In terms of audio performance, the M11 Plus LTD is outfitted with dual AK4497EQ DAC chipsets and a potent THX AAA-78 amplification module. It supports two-way Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity along with LDAC, SBC, and AAC wireless codecs. The player also features 2.4G and 5G dual-band Wi-Fi and incorporates FiiO's Digital Audio Purifications System (DAPS) with fourth generation FPGA+NDK femtosecond crystal oscillators for purer sound quality. Wired audio options include 2.4mm, 3.5mm, and 4.4mm jacks, as well as USB DAC.

The M11 Plus LTD boasts a substantial 6000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm 4.0 quick charging at up to 27W. FiiO claims this power source can deliver up to 11.5 hours of continuous music playback, and the device can be fully charged from zero to one hundred percent in approximately three hours.
