Haylou RS3 Smartwatch Debuts With GPS and Premium Design Under $80

Haylou, a brand within Xiaomi's ecosystem known for affordable wireless earbuds and smartwatches, has introduced the RS3 smartwatch. Priced at just $79.99, the device combines a sleek design with advanced features such as built-in GPS and a long-lasting battery.

The Haylou RS3 sports a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display with a sharp 390 x 390 resolution and 2.5D curved glass for a premium look and feel. The watch is encased in an aluminum alloy frame with a matte sand-like finish that resists scratches and fingerprints. It is also water-resistant up to 5ATM, meaning it can handle depths of up to 50 meters.

Health monitoring capabilities include 24-hour heart rate tracking, blood oxygen saturation measurement, and detailed sleep analysis that categorizes sleep into light, deep, and REM stages. The RS3 also offers guided breathing exercises to help manage stress.

For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch supports 14 different sports modes, including swimming, basketball, cycling, and hiking. A six-axis accelerometer tracks movement and calculates calories burned, while the integrated GPS chip accurately monitors distance covered during activities like running, cycling, and walking.

Although the RS3 does not support direct calling, it provides notifications for incoming calls, messages, and app alerts. Additional features include weather forecasting, music control, and a pedometer. The device connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.0, and its companion app, Haylou Fun, is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Powered by a 230mAh lithium battery, Haylou claims the RS3 can last up to seven days on a single charge under normal use. When GPS is activated, battery life is still impressive at around 25 hours.

Currently available on AliExpress for $79.99, the Haylou RS3 is not officially sold in Nepal yet. However, previous Haylou products have entered the Nepali market, so an arrival of the RS3 is anticipated. If launched locally, the expected price would be around NPR 10,000.
