Honor X7a Arrives in Nepal

Celltron Nepal, the official distributor of Honor smartphones, has introduced the Honor X7a in the market. The device first launched globally in January and now joins the local lineup, offering an appealing mix of features for users seeking a budget-friendly smartphone.

Design and Display

The Honor X7a features a sleek, slim profile at 8.27mm thick and weighs just 196 grams, making it comfortable for daily use. It sports a gradient finish on the rear and comes in three vivid colors: Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black. On the front, it houses a 6.7-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, along with TUV Rheinland certification for reduced eye strain. The phone uses a U-shaped notch at the top and includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the Honor X7a is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 processor, built on a 12nm process. This processor features eight Cortex-A53 cores, with speeds split between 2.3GHz and 1.8GHz. The device offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. It runs Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12, though no commitments have been made regarding future OS updates or security patches.

Camera Capabilities

For photography, the Honor X7a includes a quad-camera setup. The rear cameras consist of a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP sensors for macro and depth shots. The front camera is an 8MP shooter suitable for selfies and video calls.

One of the standout features of the Honor X7a is its impressive 6000mAh battery, which Honor claims can last up to three and a half days on a single charge. The phone has earned top rankings in DXOMark’s global battery tests and is said to retain 80% of its original capacity after three years of use. It comes with a 22.5W wired charger included in the box.
