Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor with an Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The device boasts a 20-megapixel rear camera protected by a sapphire lens cover and includes an UltraPixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Storage options include 32GB of internal memory plus support for microSD cards up to 128GB. A large 2,840 mAh battery is promised to deliver up to 25 hours of talk time. The One M9 will be available in silver, gunmetal gray, pink, and gold colors.
Alongside the smartphone, HTC also unveiled the Grip fitness band, an innovative wearable with built-in GPS and a pedometer. This waterproof device tracks various workout activities such as running, cycling, and gym exercises, and even monitors sleep duration. Compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, the Grip is claimed to offer a battery life of two and a half days. The fitness band is expected to launch in spring.
