Huawei FreeArc Open-Ear Earbuds Now in Nepal

Huawei has officially launched the FreeArc, its first open-ear earbuds, in Nepal. Introduced globally in February 2025, these earbuds feature a unique design with secure-fit hooks and a memory alloy build, aimed at delivering comfort and durability.

The FreeArc uses an open-ear design that rests outside the ear canal, using wraparound hooks to stay in place. The earbuds are lightweight at just 8.9 grams each and come in pastel green, white, and black. They carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, though the charging case is not included in this rating.

Audio performance comes from a 17 × 12 mm high-sensitivity driver, with a reverse sound wave system to reduce leakage. While the FreeArc lacks active noise cancellation, users can adjust settings manually through the companion app. Supported codecs include SBC and AAC.

Each earbud includes two microphones and a triple-call noise cancellation system, enabling clear conversations. Bluetooth connectivity features a dual-resonator antenna for a 400-meter range in open spaces and supports multi-device pairing and audio sharing with Huawei devices. Touch controls let users manage playback, volume, and calls.

Battery life offers up to 7 hours of playback per charge, extending to 28 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of use, though wireless charging is not supported.

The Huawei FreeArc is priced at NPR 16,990 and is available from authorized Huawei retailers such as Dizikart.
