Intex Aqua Costa With 2GB RAM Debuts in Nepal at Rs. 9,999

Chaudhary Group, the official distributor for Intex smartphones in Nepal, has launched the Intex Aqua Costa, a budget smartphone now available for Rs. 9,999. Customers can purchase it from CG digital stores and the company's online platform.

The Intex Aqua Costa sports a 5-inch FWVGA screen with a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels, supporting two-finger gestures and offering a screen-to-body ratio of 67 percent. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6580M system-on-chip, which includes a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor paired with a Mali 400MP2 GPU. The most notable feature is its 2GB of RAM, making it the sole smartphone below the Rs. 10,000 mark to provide this memory capacity.

In terms of storage, the device comes with 8GB of internal memory, of which approximately 4.5GB is accessible to users at first boot. A 16GB memory card is included in the box. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. A 200mAh battery fuels the device, which the manufacturer claims delivers around 11 hours of talk time over 3G networks.

For photography, the Intex Aqua Costa features a 5MP primary camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support (3G+2G), WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and microUSB 2.0. The smartphone is offered in three color options: Champagne, White, and Grey.
