JBL Launches Wave Buds 2 and Wave Beam 2 Earbuds in Nepal

JBL has recently unveiled two new true wireless stereo earbuds in the Nepali market: the Wave Buds 2 and the Wave Beam 2. Both models bring JBL’s signature audio experience to listeners, featuring active noise cancellation, customizable sound profiles, and robust build quality.

In terms of design, the Wave Buds 2 adopt a compact, sleek profile, while the Wave Beam 2 incorporates a stem similar to that found on Apple’s AirPods Pro, which may enhance call clarity by positioning the microphone closer to the user’s mouth. Both earbuds share the same color options of black, blue, pink, and white, and each features IP54 dust and splash resistance for the earbuds themselves, with the charging cases carrying an IPX2 rating for minimal water protection.

Audio performance is handled by 8mm dynamic drivers that produce JBL’s Pure Bass sound. Users can fine-tune the audio experience through the JBL Headphones app, which allows for custom equalizer settings, voice prompts, and even relaxation sounds. The earbuds also include active noise cancellation to reduce ambient noise and a Smart Ambient mode that keeps the user aware of surroundings when needed.

Call quality is supported by dual microphones on each earbud. While both models perform well, the Wave Beam 2’s stem design is expected to offer slightly improved voice pickup due to the microphone’s proximity to the mouth. Connectivity is managed by Bluetooth 5.3, and both earbuds support Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and multi-point connections for seamless pairing with multiple devices.

Battery life stands at up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge without ANC, dropping to around 8 hours with ANC enabled. The accompanying charging case adds another 30 hours of listening time, and a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 3 hours of playback.

The JBL Wave Buds 2 are priced at NPR 9,500, while the JBL Wave Beam 2 is available for NPR 11,000. Both models can be purchased from authorized retailers such as Dizikart, making high-quality true wireless audio more accessible to Nepali consumers.
