Motorola Launches Moto E4 and E4 Plus with Fingerprint Sensor and Long Battery Life

Motorola has launched the new Moto E4 and E4 Plus, continuing its tradition of delivering budget smartphones with clean, stock Android experiences similar to high-end devices. These latest additions to the E-series bring notable features usually reserved for more expensive phones, such as a fingerprint sensor, water resistance, and a front-facing LED flash, all while promising regular security and Android updates.

The Moto E4 features a 5-inch 720p display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, powered by either a Snapdragon 425 or 427 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB. It sports an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera, both with f/2.2 apertures, and is backed by a 2800mAh battery. However, it supports only a single SIM.

The Moto E4 Plus offers a larger 5.5-inch 720p display, also with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 427 processor and comes in configurations with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, paired with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage respectively, both expandable up to 128GB. This model boasts a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, supported by an impressive 5000mAh non-removable battery with fast charging.

Both devices run on Android 7.1 Nougat and are set to receive software updates, a significant advantage in the budget segment. The Moto E4 is available in Nepal for NPR 16,290, while the Moto E4 Plus can be found for NPR 20,990.
