Nokia 5 Arrives in Nepal With Competitive Pricing and Solid Features

The Nokia 5 has officially launched in Nepal, brought to consumers by Paramount Electronics Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor for Nokia phones in the country. Initially priced at NPR 21,350, the device’s price was later updated to NPR 18,499 as of December 6, 2018.

The Nokia 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS LCD display, protected by Gorilla Glass to resist scratches and minor impacts. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using an SD card. The device runs on Android Nougat out of the box in its stock form, ensuring a clean interface free from bloatware.

On the photography front, the Nokia 5 features a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and dual-tone LED flash, alongside an 8MP front camera also equipped with an f/2.0 aperture for vibrant selfies. Security is enhanced with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor on the home button. The phone is backed by a sizable 3000mAh non-removable battery.
