Nubia Launches Alien-Inspired Gaming Earbuds with Ultra-Low Latency

Nubia has just announced a fresh addition to its audio lineup, the CyberBuds, a pair of wireless earbuds with a futuristic alien aesthetic tailored for gaming enthusiasts. The earbuds boast a distinctive look, featuring a compact case equipped with an integrated micro-display and vibrant RGB lighting that users can personalize through the Nubia Life+ app. Each bud weighs only about 3.6 grams, while the case comes in at 58 grams, ensuring a lightweight and portable experience.

One of the standout features of the CyberBuds is its exceptionally low latency of just 50 milliseconds, enabled by Nubia’s FlashLink 2.0 technology. This makes the earbuds particularly suitable for competitive gaming where even the smallest delay can impact performance. Connectivity is managed by Bluetooth 5.4, and users can select from various audio presets or fine-tune the sound using a manual EQ mode for a customized audio experience.

In terms of battery life, each earbud contains a 35 mAh cell, while the charging case packs a 500 mAh cell. Nubia states that a single charge provides up to 6 hours of playback, and with the case, the total listening time extends to approximately 48 hours.

Currently, the Nubia CyberBuds are priced at CNY 199 in China, roughly equivalent to US$28. While an official release in Nepal has not yet been confirmed, industry sources suggest that if the product does arrive, it could be priced around NPR 4000.
