OnePlus Turbo 6V Debuts in China With Massive 9,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4

OnePlus has launched the Turbo 6V in China as a more affordable companion to the Turbo 6, offering a compelling mix of battery life and performance for everyday users. The Turbo 6V sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED LTPS display, delivering a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, protected by Oppo Crystal Shield glass. Measuring 8.50mm thick and weighing 215 grams, it carries an IP66/68/69/69K rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with an Adreno 810 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. While it does not match the Turbo 6’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the 7s Gen 4 remains capable for everyday tasks, though hardcore gaming may reveal slight differences. The standout feature is its enormous 9,000mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging. This massive battery places it among the leaders in endurance, despite recent competitors like Honor’s 10,000mAh offering.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 2MP secondary module, alongside a 16MP front camera. Running on Android 16 with ColorOS 16, the phone features an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback. Connectivity also supports LHDC 5.0 for enhanced audio transmission.

In China, the OnePlus Turbo 6V starts at CNY 1,699 for the 8GB + 256GB model. In Nepal, expectations suggest a starting price of NPR 38,500, with higher configurations reaching NPR 46,500. The device is poised to appeal to users seeking extended battery life without compromising on key features.
