Key Takeaways
- Polar Loop is a screenless, subscription-free wearable launching globally
- Tracks heart rate, sleep, activity, and recovery automatically with up to 8 days battery life
- Expected price in Nepal around NPR 33,999 if released locally
Polar, a well-known name in fitness tracking, has launched its first passive wristwear device called the Polar Loop. Unlike many competitors that require ongoing subscriptions for full functionality, the Polar Loop offers all its health tracking features without any subscription fees.
The Loop presents a simple wristband design available in Night Black, Greige Sand, and Brown Copper color options, paired with interchangeable bands. It houses an advanced version of Polar’s Precision Prime optical heart rate monitoring system and measures 27 by 42 by 9 millimeters, weighing 29 grams with the band. The device carries a 170 mAh battery that Polar claims can last up to 8 days on a single charge.
This wearable automatically monitors heart rate, sleep patterns, recovery status, and daily activity without requiring any manual input. All collected data syncs to the Polar Flow app for both Android and iOS users. The Loop also features Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, USB-C charging, and WR30 water resistance for everyday wear.
While the Polar Loop will open for pre-orders in the United States on September 10 for USD 199.99, official availability in Nepal has not been confirmed. Should it arrive locally, the expected price would be approximately NPR 33,999.
