Realme C55 Now Available at Reduced Price in Nepal

Realme has introduced a notable price reduction for its C55 smartphone in Nepal, making it more accessible to buyers. Launched initially in April 2023, the C55 now retails for NPR 15,499 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant, marking a discount of NPR 6,500 from its earlier price.

The Realme C55 sports a design reminiscent of the Realme 10 4G, featuring a boxy form factor with flat edges and a glossy plastic back finish. It comes in two color options: Sun-Shower, which has a color-changing effect, and Rainy Night. The device boasts a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. A standout feature is the Mini Capsule interface, inspired by iPhone's Dynamic Island, which displays notifications such as charging status, battery alerts, and data usage.

Under the hood, the C55 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, an Octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, paired with Mali-G52 MC2 graphics. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, with a microSD card slot supporting up to 1TB of additional storage and virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB. The phone runs on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0.

For photography, the C55 includes a dual-camera setup with a 64MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor, capable of recording videos at 1080p at 60fps. The front features an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The device is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Connectivity options include WiFi 5, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a single speaker.

The Realme C55 is now available in Nepal through authorized retail outlets.
