Realme has introduced Realme UI 3.0, its latest software layer built on Android 12, offering users a refined experience with new customization options and stronger privacy tools. The update brings Google's Material You design philosophy to Realme handsets, allowing users to sync system colors with wallpapers and adjust icon backgrounds through a color wheel interface. Additionally, the Always-On Display now supports portrait silhouettes and animated 3D emojis that react to facial expressions.

Privacy has been significantly enhanced with Android 12's native features, including a dashboard that tracks app permissions and sensor access in real time. Users can also choose to share approximate rather than exact location data with apps, and the update includes a private photo-sharing mode that strips metadata such as device details and camera settings. Realme UI 3.0 first arrived on the Realme GT 5G, with broader rollout plans covering devices from the flagship GT Neo2 5G down to the Narzo 30 series by mid-2022.
