Realme Re-enters Smartwatch Market with the New Watch 5

Realme has re-entered the smartwatch market with the launch of the Realme Watch 5, bringing a sleek metal unibody design paired with a vibrant 1.97-inch AMOLED display that reaches 600 nits of peak brightness. Protected by Panda Glass, the watch includes a functional rotating crown for easy navigation and interchangeable 22mm straps, available in four color options: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, Mint Blue, and Vibrant Orange.

The device supports over 108 sports modes, with useful features like VO2 Max estimation and auto workout detection that automatically recognize exercise sessions. Health tracking covers essential metrics such as sleep monitoring, SpO2 blood oxygen measurement, and women’s health insights, while the watch carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth calling, independent GPS with support for multiple satellite systems, and NFC for payments and access control. Realme claims the 460mAh battery will last up to 16 days under standard use, extending to 20 days in Light Mode, though real-world usage is expected to yield around 10 to 12 days.

In India, the Realme Watch 5 is priced at Rs 4,499, with an expected launch price of NPR 7,200 in Nepal.
