Xiaomi Nepal recently announced the arrival of the Redmi Buds 5C, a new true wireless stereo model designed to deliver premium sound and effective noise management at an accessible price point. The earbuds are now available through local retailer Dizikart.

Design and Construction

The Redmi Buds 5C adopt an in-ear design with elongated stems for a secure fit. Each bud weighs just 4.2 grams and comes paired with an oval charging case that includes a white status indicator and a USB Type-C charging port. The product is offered in three color options: Symphony Blue, Bass White, and Acoustic Black. A quad-mic configuration with AI-enhanced noise cancellation ensures clear voice transmission during calls.

Audio Performance

Audio delivery is handled by 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers that support a frequency range from 20Hz to 20KHz. Users can select among five distinct sound profiles tailored to personal preferences. The earbuds are compatible with both SBC and AAC codecs and provide three adjustable listening modes: Normal, Transparency, and Active Noise Cancellation. The ANC system can reduce ambient noise by up to 40 decibels.

Battery Life and Connectivity

Each earbud contains a 45mAh battery, while the charging case holds a 480mAh cell. Xiaomi states that a quick 10-minute charge can provide approximately two hours of playback at 50% volume with AAC encoding and ANC disabled. A complete charge requires one hour for the earbuds and two hours for the case. The models connect via Bluetooth 5.3 and support dual-device pairing alongside Google Fast Pair technology. Users can manage settings and pairings through the Xiaomi Earbuds app, available for both iOS and Android devices.

The Redmi Buds 5C is priced at NPR 3,199 and can be purchased exclusively from Dizikart. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance on the buds themselves.
