Samsung Debuts Galaxy A04e With Dual Camera and Large Battery in Nepal

Samsung has expanded its budget-friendly smartphone portfolio in Nepal with the launch of the Galaxy A04e, joining the existing A04 and A04s models. The A04e carries forward the simple design language seen in its siblings, with a textured rear panel and dual camera modules, though it retains the older waterdrop display notch common to many entry-level devices.

The display measures 6.5 inches across and uses HD+ PLS LCD technology, offering decent visibility for everyday tasks. Performance is handled by an eight-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, positioned as Samsung’s most entry-level handset for 2022. Users can choose between 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with the option to expand storage further via a microSD card up to 1TB.

Photography capabilities include a 13MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while a 5MP camera sits inside the front notch for selfies. A robust 5000mAh battery fuels the device, although official details on charging speeds have not been released, and fast charging is not expected in this price segment.

The A04e ships with Android 12 pre-installed, paired with Samsung’s One UI Core 4.1, and benefits from Samsung Knox security software. Standard connectivity options cover 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, along with basic sensors like accelerometer, light and proximity detectors.

In Nepal, the Galaxy A04e is priced at NPR 12,999 for the single 3GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration and is currently available through authorized Samsung retail channels.
