Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Arrives With Big Battery and 5G Connectivity

Samsung has just launched the 5G variant of its popular Galaxy A07 in Myanmar, bringing notable upgrades while keeping the familiar design language of the A-series. This new model offers a smooth 120Hz display, a capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a huge 6000mAh battery, positioning it as a strong contender in the budget 5G segment.

Design and Display

The Galaxy A07 5G retains much of the original A07’s design, including a flat-back appearance and a waterdrop notch for the front camera. The camera module now features a white border for a slightly fresh look. The device is IP54 rated, offering protection against light dust and water splashes. The display remains a large 6.7-inch PLS LCD but has been upgraded to a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, up from the 90Hz on the regular A07, with a peak brightness of 800 nits and HD+ resolution.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, bringing reliable 5G connectivity to the entry-level segment. It is available with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, both paired with 128GB of internal storage and support for microSD cards up to 2TB. Samsung has committed to providing six major Android version updates, starting from Android 16, ensuring long-term software support.

Camera and Battery

On the photography front, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor alongside a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP camera sits inside the waterdrop notch on the front. The battery has been significantly increased to 6000mAh, up from the 4G A07’s smaller pack, and supports USB-C charging. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Although the Galaxy A07 5G has launched in Myanmar, there is no official confirmation yet regarding its release in Nepal. If it does arrive, expectations are for the base 4GB/128GB model to start at NPR 18,999, with the 6GB/128GB variant priced at around NPR 21,999.
