Samsung Galaxy A24 Debuts in Nepal With Helio G99 and 5000mAh Battery

Samsung Nepal has expanded its Galaxy A-series lineup with the official introduction of the Galaxy A24. The device brings a mix of solid performance and long-lasting battery life, positioning it as a competitive option in the mid-range segment.

The Galaxy A24 features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth scrolling and vivid colors. Despite the vibrant panel, the phone retains a waterdrop notch design with relatively thick bezels. It comes in four color options: Black, Silver, Burgundy, and Lime Green.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, built on a 6nm process. This octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A76 and six Cortex-A55 cores, offering reliable performance for everyday tasks. The device runs Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 on top, and it is set to receive four years of OS updates and five years of security patches.

Memory configurations include up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, with the added flexibility of a microSD card slot that supports expansion up to 1TB. A robust 5000mAh battery fuels the phone, although 25W charging support requires the user to purchase the charger separately.

On the photography front, the Galaxy A24 boasts a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization. This is paired with a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, the device features a 13MP front camera.

In terms of pricing, the Galaxy A24 starts at NPR 28,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher-end variant, offering 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at NPR 31,999. The phone is now available in retail stores across Nepal.
