Samsung Debuts Galaxy J7 Prime With 32GB Storage in Nepal

Samsung Mobile Nepal has officially launched the Galaxy J7 Prime with 32GB of internal storage, marking an update to the model that first arrived nearly eight months ago with just 16GB. The new variant carries the same launch price as the original 16GB version, set at NPR 29,490, while the older model has been discounted to NPR 27,990.

The Galaxy J7 Prime 32GB matches the existing model in every way apart from its storage capacity, which is now doubled. The device retains the same 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display, powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Photography features a 13MP rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP front camera, also f/1.9. A front-mounted fingerprint sensor serves as the home button, and the phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. A sizable 3300mAh battery fuels the device, and users can expand storage beyond the 32GB base via a microSD card up to 256GB, thanks to a non-hybrid dual SIM tray.

Key specifications include a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution, the Exynos 7870 chipset with an octa-core 1.6GHz CPU and Mali-T830MP2 GPU, and Android 6.0.1 with TouchWiz enhancements such as Ultra Power Saving Mode and Ultra Data Saving Mode. Despite its later-than-expected release, the J7 Prime 32GB holds its ground in the sub-NPR 30,000 segment, particularly appealing to brand-loyal Samsung customers who value extra storage without stretching their budget.
