Samsung Debuts Galaxy M55 5G in Nepal With Updated Processor

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy M55 5G in Nepal, marking a notable shift in performance for the mid-range segment. Unlike its close relative the Galaxy A55 5G, the M55 utilizes the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor rather than the Exynos 1480, promising improved efficiency and speed. The phone retains a premium design language with a curved middle frame, IP67 dust and water resistance, and a prominent camera setup.

The display remains a highlight at 6.7 inches across, utilizing Super AMOLED technology with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, reaching peaks of 1000 nits for outdoor visibility. Security is handled by an under-screen optical fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 built on a 4nm process pairs with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and a generous 256GB storage option. Software-wise, the device runs One UI 6.1 based on Android 14, commitments to four years of OS updates and five years of security updates position it as a future-proof choice.

Camera capabilities include a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, supported by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens.
