Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus Now Available in Nepal With Updated Pricing

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus in Nepal, offering the latest flagship performance and design updates for users. The S23 retails for NPR 127,999, while the larger S23 Plus costs NPR 151,999. Both models arrive in a single 8GB RAM configuration with 256GB storage options.

Design and display improvements include a revised camera bar layout inspired by the S22 Ultra, with the S23 featuring a compact 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and the S23 Plus expanding to a 6.6-inch panel. Both screens support adaptive 48-120Hz refresh rates, HDR10+ certification, and the durable Gorilla Glass Victus 2, matching the ultra-bright 1750 nits peak luminosity of the S23 Ultra.

Under the hood, the devices run on Samsung’s customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip, delivering higher clock speeds than the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found in other phones. This includes a boosted 3.36 GHz prime core, along with enhanced Adreno 740 GPU performance. Memory support leverages the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage standard, skipping the 128GB option on the Plus model in favor of a 512GB variant.

Camera capabilities remain strong despite the absence of the 200MP sensor reserved for the Ultra model, with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto lens on both phones. Software enhancements introduce improved Nightography, Night Selfie, and Night Selfie Video modes, plus High Resolution, Expert Raw, and Photo Remaster tools. Selfies gain a resolution boost to 12MP, the first increase since the Galaxy S10.

Battery life is adequate for the S23 with a 3900mAh cell and 25W charging, while the S23 Plus carries a larger 4700mAh battery with faster 45W wired charging, both supporting 10W wireless charging. The phones ship with Android 13 and Samsung’s One UI 5.1 interface, along with stereo speakers tuned for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital/Plus.

The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus are now available across Nepal in Black, Cotton, Green, and Violet color options, offering a compelling blend of performance, display quality, and camera upgrades at competitive prices.
