Sirin V3 Offers Enhanced Security on a Galaxy S21 Base at a Premium Price

Sirin Labs, an Israeli cybersecurity firm, has launched the Sirin V3, a security-enhanced version of Samsung's Galaxy S21 flagship phone. The device retains the S21's core design and hardware while adding robust privacy controls through its Dual-Persona system.

The Sirin V3 sports a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a centered punch-hole cutout, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, and shares the S21's IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Performance options include either the Snapdragon 888 chipset for the US market or the Exynos 2100 for global versions, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Its key innovation is the Dual-Persona mode, built on Samsung Knox, which lets users switch between personal and work profiles. The personal mode offers strong baseline security with enhanced app protection, allowing only Play Store downloads while blocking potentially risky features like USB debugging. The work mode provides military-grade encryption for calls and messages, with pre-loaded productivity apps and no support for additional installations. Neither mode permits screenshots.

Despite its advanced security, the Sirin V3 comes at a steep price of USD 2,650, which is USD 800 more than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable phone. Orders can be placed through the company's official website.

The device carries a 4000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Its camera setup mirrors the S21 with a triple rear system and a 10MP front camera.
