Vivo Y01 Budget Phone With Helio P35 and Android 11 Go Hits Nepali Market

Vivo has entered the budget smartphone space in Nepal with the launch of the Y01, positioned as an affordable option for everyday users. The device features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop-style notch for the 5MP selfie camera. Powering the phone is the Helio P35 chipset, an octa-core processor introduced in 2018, paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Software-wise, it runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 Go Edition.

The rear camera setup includes a single 8MP main sensor with an LED flash, while the front camera sits in the waterdrop notch with a 5MP sensor. A large 5000mAh battery provides endurance, supported by 10W charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a Micro USB 2.0 port that also enables OTG functionality.

The Vivo Y01 is offered in two color finishes: Elegant Black and Sapphire Blue. It measures 163.96 × 75.2 × 8.28mm and weighs around 178 grams. The official price in Nepal is set at NPR 12,499 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, and it is available through authorized Vivo retailers nationwide.
