Vivo Y15C Now Available in Nepal at Updated Price

The Vivo Y15C has arrived in the Nepalese market as a budget-oriented smartphone emphasizing design and endurance. Initially launched in August 2022, the device combines a sizable battery with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.

The phone sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop notch, offering automatic brightness adjustment and Vivo’s Eye Protection Mode to minimize blue light exposure. Encased in a 3D-curved polycarbonate body, it comes in Mystic Blue and Wave Green options, measuring 8.28mm thick and weighing approximately 179 grams.

Powering the Y15C is the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, an entry-level chip featuring two Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.8GHz and 2.3GHz. It pairs with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, providing adequate performance for everyday tasks.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera setup, led by a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and supported by a 2MP macro camera. The camera array includes features such as Time-Lapse, Pro Mode, and Panorama, while the 8MP front camera benefits from an “Aura Light” that brightens selfies in low-light conditions. The device also supports 2D face unlock for quick access.

A robust 5000mAh battery fuels the device, though charging is limited to 10W via a micro USB port. The phone includes a single speaker and runs on Android 12, customized with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 12.

Currently, the Vivo Y15C is available in Nepal for NPR 14,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, marking a reduction from the original NPR 17,999 price. This discounted rate is valid throughout February and can be found at authorized Vivo retailers across the country.
